Ben, owner and lead gardener of Portland Garden Services, is a 4th generation orchardist and specializes in Japanese Maple care and pruning. He brings a high level of knowledge to the long-term care of Japanese Maples, ornamental trees, and fruit trees. At PGS, we often work with heritage trees that are 70 plus years old, and apply that same deep respect and creative attention to every tree and shrub we prune. Our priority is the long-term health and aesthetic beauty of your entire landscape.
     We offer our pruning and restoration services through two different paths to fit your garden’s needs. You can hire us for specific project-based work, such as a one-time seasonal pruning for your ornamental or fruit trees or the detailed restoration of a heritage maple. For those who want year-round peace of mind, we also include full tree and shrub care in our ongoing maintenance packages. This ensures every Japanese Maple, ornamental, and fruit tree in your garden receives the right attention at the correct time of year.
